♥! Awesome looking so pretty !♥

The 2013 Oscars was held at the packed Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles yesterday with the who’s who of Hollywood in attendance. Here is a look at all the stand out red carpet appearances that blew us away and some of the trends that came out.
Naomi Watts was my favourite of the night, by miles! She dazzled in the biggest ‘trend of the night’, metallic, wearing a stunning blue-grey fully sequinned custom Giorgio Armani Prive gown with a modern shoulder cut-out. She paired her gown with sparkling Neil Lane jewels, messy updo and pink lip colour.
Jessica Chastain looked quite the flawless glamazon in a copper embellished custom strapless Giorgio Armani Prive gown with a slight train. She finished off her look with Harry Winston jewels, soft side swept red waves and a striking red lip.
Halle Berry rocked a full sleeved black and silver column gown from Versace (which I first mistook for a Zuhair Murad) with structured shoulders and plunging neckline. The gown was on trend with silver striped embellished detailing.
The Oscars red carpet (much like Cannes) won’t be what it is without a dose of princessy glamour. We were treated to the most ethereal ball-gowns courtesy Amy Adams and belle-of-the-ball, Jennifer Lawrence.
Amy Adams wore a powder blue Oscar De La Renta gown with a strapless beaded bodice and a soft and dramatic tulle skirt. She finished off the look with a neat updo.

Jennifer Lawrence wore a blush pink Dior Haute Couture gown paired with a Roger Vivier silver clutch and she wore her delicate Chopard necklace down her back, much like Anne Hathaway, starting a mini-trend!

What’s a red carpet without a dose of gorgeous black gowns?
Sandra Bullock looked beautiful in a silver beaded part-sheer, black Elie Saab Couture gown with cap sleeves. She carried a vintage Swarovski clutch and wore Harry Winston jewels, pinning part of her center-parted hair with a diamond brooch.
Adele went back to her favourite colour in a black Burberry gown. The performer of the night finished off her glittering look with big hair.
Nicole Kidman was glowing and on trend in a flattering L’Wren Scott scoop neck black and gold melting metallic gown. Fred Leighton gold jewels and L’Wren Scott black & gold lattice heels completed her look.
In a sea of muted and neutral colours, we had Jennifer Aniston, Sally Field and Reese Witherspoon brighten up the proceedings with colour.
Jennifer Aniston stuck to her favourite brand, Valentino, in a red Spring 2013 Couture ball-gown with a strapless fitted bodice and full skirt. She carried a matching red Salvatore Ferragamo clutch and left her hair open.
Reese Witherspoon looked fabulous in a two-tone cobalt blue and black strapless Louis Vuitton dress. She styled her blonde hair in cascading side-swept golden waves.
These were my favourite looks from the event with special mentions going out to Charlize Theron looking white hot in Dior Haute Couture, Amanda Seyfried in Alexander McQueen and the ageless Jane Fonda in a canary yellow Versace gown.
